Air miles earned via Citi PremierMiles Visa card do not expire and can be redeemed anytime. An administrative fee of $25 is charged per redemption but this is a small price to pay for the convenience of a “no expiry” feature. Although it has an annual fee of $192.60 (there is an option to choose the fee waiver of 1 year), cardholders are rewarded with 10,000 air miles upon annual membership renewal and annual fee payment. While the Citi PremierMiles Visa card earn rate of 1.2 miles per $1 local spend (2 miles per $1 overseas spend) is not the highest, air miles earned have no expiry date. Up to $1 million in travel insurance coverage in the event of death or permanent disablement is another major benefit when you charge your travel bookings to the card.
