Rewards Redemption FAQs

It usually takes an average of 2 calendar months from the date of approval by the bank or completion of the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form, whichever is later, before you receive an email with details of the Rewards Redemption.

The application reference number is a critical part of the Rewards Redemption Process. It identifies the applicant as well as the specific product he or she applied for. SingSaver will use this reference number to verify the applicant’s eligibility of the Reward. Here is a short video explaining this. An incorrect or incomplete application reference number may result in a longer processing time for your Rewards redemption.
There are three ways to retrieve your application reference number:

1) The application reference number is provided to you after you have completed the online application form for a specific credit card or personal loan.

2) Check your email inbox. It is included in the acknowledgement email sent by the bank immediately following your online application.

3) Call the relevant bank to find out the application reference number.

  • Following the completion of the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form, you will receive an email confirmation that you have registered for your reward.

    Your application is now being processed by the bank. Once you’ve been approved and are eligible for the Reward, the bank will notify SingSaver. We will then match this with your Reference Application Number.

    You will receive an email with details of the Reward Redemption within 2 calendar months from the date of your card approval or completion of the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form, whichever is later.
    The bank reviews the application status of each and every specific card/personal loan. SingSaver is not involved in this process. You may call the relevant bank to check your application status.

  • Name of product you applied for

  • Email used during online application
  • After completing the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form, you will receive an acknowledgement email within 3 working days. You can also write to info@singsaver.com.sg to check if your Rewards Redemption Form was successfully completed.
    Due to Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act of 2012, SingSaver only collects your name, email address, product you applied for, application reference number and application date. We are not permitted to collect the home address of customers so we cannot mail the Reward to successful applicants.
    To authorise someone to collect the Reward on your behalf, please bring along a copy of your NRIC and the Reward Redemption email to the Gift Redemption Centre.
    First, the online application has to be completed through SingSaver. Following the online application, complete the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form. When the application is approved by the bank and the bank confirms the applicant’s eligibility to receive the Reward, SingSaver will email the applicant with details on how to collect the Reward.     Yes, you can. But do note that the Reward offer may differ on certain criteria.

    For example, Citibank has a sign-up Rewards offer of S$200 for a new Citibank cardholder and S$50 for an existing Citibank cardholder. If you’re a new Citibank cardholder (i.e. do not hold existing credit cards with Citibank) and want to apply for 3 Citibank cards via SingSaver, you will be entitled to the following if all 3 cards are approved:
  • S$200 (considers as a new cardholder for the first card)
  • S$50 (considers as an existing cardholder for the second card)
  • S$50 (considers as an existing cardholder for the third card)

  • Please read the terms and conditions prior to application, as promotions are subject to change.
    Cash back is fulfilled directly by the bank in the form of credit into the customer’s eligible card account. The cash back can be used to offset future purchases. Please note that the fulfilment period varies by banks and the banks have the final discretion on the fulfilment of cash back.
    The SingSaver cash reward is fulfilled by SingSaver and will be given to the eligible applicant in the form of cash. The customer can redeem his Reward at the Redemption Centre upon receival of the Reward Redemption Email. Note that terms and conditions apply.
    SingSaver collects your name, email address, the product you applied for, your application reference number and your application date. We will use this data to match with the list of successful applications approved by the bank that is eligible for the Reward. With the exception of Citibank applications, with whom we have developed a secure and integrated application platform, SingSaver does not collect any other customer data that is provided during the online application. That data is kept secure by the relevant bank you’re applying the product from.
