Who is Citigold for?
Citigold is ideal for individuals with significant financial assets who want expert support in managing and growing their wealth.
Recommended for:
-
Established professionals – Mid-career executives earning high incomes and planning long-term wealth goals like property investment, retirement planning, or their children’s education.
-
Business owners – Entrepreneurs who want to park idle cash, manage cross-border banking, or access curated investment options.
-
Globally mobile individuals – Frequent travellers or expats who want consistent priority banking and investment support across countries.
Not ideal for:
-
Young professionals just starting out – If you’re still building up your savings and haven’t hit S$250,000 in assets, Citigold may be premature.
-
DIY investors – If you prefer managing your own investments through brokerages, the value of Citigold’s advisory and bundled services may not justify the commitment.
FAQ
Yes, joint Citigold accounts are allowed, and the AUM can be shared between both account holders.
Citigold does not directly manage CPF monies, but your Relationship Manager can advise on how to use your CPF OA and SA for investing through the CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS).
Citi Wealth First is a high-interest savings account, while Citigold is a full-fledged wealth management relationship. You can pair both to optimise cash yield and advisory benefits.
That depends. When you’re a Priority Banking customer, you have the ability to capitalise on investments without holding cash, by using the power of investment through leverage. This comes with its risks, since you may lose out if your investment goes up in smoke. Compounded with the interest charged with your loan, the result can be truly disastrous. However, if you’re judicious in the way you utilise your investment financing, Priority Banking can help you grow your funds.
Yes, international banking is one of the biggest perks of Priority Banking accounts. Most Priority Banking accounts offer easy FX solutions with no currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. For example, Citigold Priority Banking customers can transact in over 150 currencies when they pay with their Citigold Debit Mastercard, without incurring any additional fees.
