SingSaver’s take
The Maybank Horizon Visa Signature Card is a strong travel-miles card, especially if you spend overseas or on flights and can meet the S$800/month trigger. It gives you good value via complimentary travel insurance and lounge access, and the 3-year fee waiver softens the initial cost. On the flip side, some categories (insurance, education, charity) no longer count, and conditions for lounge access are somewhat strict. If you travel occasionally or have mixed spending, this card can deliver solid returns; heavy travellers will benefit more.
