Citi Miles do not expire
Yes, you heard us. Citi Miles never expire so you will never have to feel rushed to use your miles on things that do not tickle your fancy. As mile chasers, we wholeheartedly appreciate earning and accumulating miles that do not expire as the whole process takes time. This is especially true if you, like us, are gunning for award Business Class or First Class flights to far-flung cities like Paris or London.
Earn more miles on your spending
Besides earning 1.2 Citi Miles per S$1 on local spend and 2.2 Citi Miles per S$1 (mpd) on foreign currency spend, look forward to earning 10 Citi Miles per $1 spent on Kaligo and up to 7 Citi Miles per S$1 spent on Agoda.
These bonus miles for dedicated travel bookings come as no surprise since the Citi PremierMiles Card since it's already a popular travel credit card. Moreover, these rates outperform its close competitor – DBS Altitude – which awards up to 10 mpd on Kaligo bookings and up to 6 mpd on Expedia bookings.
You can also earn miles on rent, condo management fees, school fees, taxes and electricity bills — basically big payments — via Citi PayAll. Take note that Citi PayAll Service Fee applies.
From time to time, Citibank also runs spend promotions that let cardmembers earn miles at an accelerated rate when they register for the promotions and meet the spend requirements.
Another easy way to chalk up miles? Simply renew your Citi PremierMiles membership and pay the S$196.20 annual fee to snag 10,000 Citi Miles on your card anniversary.

Don’t wish to use your miles on travel? Feel free to turn your miles into things you love, such as Apple products. You may also use Pay with Points Online to redeem statement credits to cover the cost of recent purchases in select categories made with your eligible Citi credit card.
Alternatively, you can also convert your Citi Miles to KrisPay Miles instead to be used for shopping and dining rewards on the Kris+ app. It follows a conversion rate of as low as 4,000 Citi Miles : 3,400 KrisPay miles. Once converted, these KrisPay Miles can subsequently be transferred to your KrisFlyer account* for flight redemptions! ✈️ So it's a win-win situation here.
Or if – for some reason – you don't feel like converting your Citi Miles into frequent flyer miles, you can redeem it for cash rebate. A minimum of 1,650 Citi Miles is required per S$10 cash rebate redemption.
*The whole conversion timeline from Citi Miles to KrisPay Miles to KrisFlyer Miles is only valid for 7 days. Transfers of miles from Kris+ app to the KrisFlyer Account after 7 days will be invalid.
