Everything to Know About SG60 Culture Pass & ActiveSG Credits

Singapore is celebrating its 60th birthday this year. In honour of such a grand milestone, the SG60 Budget Initiatives have been beefed up to include culture, recreation and sports. Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store for you.

Culture Pass is a new SG60 Budget Initiative catered towards those who like engaging with arts and culture as a recreational activity. 

All eligible Singaporeans will be provided with S$100 in credits that can be used to pay for the costs of attending and participating in various local arts and heritage programmes. 

These include performances, exhibitions, experiences such as learning tours and participatory workshops, and other cultural offerings.

So if you’ve been meaning to explore more museums and exhibitions, here’s your chance!

ActiveSG is the SG60 Budget Initiative catering to the interests of those seeking fitness and sporting activities. 

Similar to Culture Pass, ActiveSG provides an allowance that can be used to pay for booking of sport facilities, entry to swimming pools, gyms and other community sports facilities. It can also be used to pay for various ActiveSG programmes.

For SG60, all eligible Singaporeans will receive a one-time S$100 credit top-up. That’s a nice boost to your ActiveSG allowance, letting you explore some new sports, or play your favourite ones more frequently.

SG60 Culture Pass

All Singaporeans aged 18 and above in 2025 will receive SG Culture Pass credits worth S$100.

These credits will be available for use across 3 years from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028, via authorised ticketing providers.

ActiveSG Credit Top-up

The SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-up will be available to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who log in to MyActiveSG+ between 2 June and 31 December 2025.

• Existing ActiveSG members: Log in to MyActiveSg+ from now till 31 December 2025 to receive S$100 top-up to your account. 

• New ActiveSG members: Sign up and log in to MyActiveSG+ using your Singpass from now till 31 December 2025. You will receive a total of S$200 credits in your account (S$100 new member initiative + S$100 SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-up).

No application is required, Eligible Singaporeans will automatically be granted Culture Pass credits; meanwhile ActiveSG Credit Top-ups will be granted upon logging in to MyActiveSG+ by 31 December 2025.

There is no information yet on where exactly you can use Culture Pass, but it seems your credits can be used at a wide variety of local arts and culture programmes, performances, and activities.

ActiveSG Credit Top-up

As for ActiveSG, you can use your credits to offset the cost of paying for sporting facilities, so you can enjoy your favorite sport more often, or take up a new sport. Always wanted to start pumping iron but put off by the high monthly fees charged by private gyms? Well your ActiveSG credits can be used to pay for ActiveGYM at just S$2.50 per visit!

That’s just one example – ActiveSG credits are highly flexible, and are meant to encourage you to participate in a sport or fitness activity of your choosing. So really, the best activity is one that you and your family and friends can enjoy together!
