1. L'Espresso — Goodwood Park Hotel 

A cosy cafe complete with a breezy poolside terrace is what makes L'Espresso one of the most chill places for a spot of afternoon high tea. 

Featuring a dazzling assortment of dainty sandwiches, salads, savouries, pastries, desserts and traditional English scones, we’d suggest you skip lunch and feast on this all-you-can-eat buffet high tea. 

Currently, the restaurant is offering two high tea choices: 

English Afternoon Tea with Local Favourites

  • Inclusive of two servings of coffee or tea; from a selection of premium coffee and TWG tea

English Afternoon Tea with National Day Delights (6 to 9 August 2022)

2. Anti:Dote — Fairmont Singapore

Indulge in monthly-themed sweet treats and bite-sized sandwiches from 12pm to 5pm daily at Anti:Dote. Known for serving afternoon tea in an iconic chest of drawers, expect to feast on an array of western and local delights including laksa, lobster, gula melaka cremeux, pandan caviar and more in their August Afternoon Indulgence menu.

3. SKAI High Tea — Hotel Swissôtel The Stamford

Located on the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford, SKAI’s panoramic city views provide the perfect setting to savour the restaurant’s aesthetically pleasing and delectable teatime delights. 

With prices starting from S$68 per adult, one can expect to indulge in foie gras, salmon gravlax, and Madagascar vanilla scones in the regular high tea set, and lobsters when you pick the premium menu.

4. Violet Oon — ION Orchard

5. TWG Singapore

When it comes to high tea, you’ll never go wrong with TWG. Often seen with snaking queues, TWG is the place to go for a luxurious afternoon tea without bursting your wallet. 

The cheapest high tea set in TWG only costs S$20 per person, in which you will get iced or hot tea and a choice of two freshly baked muffins or scones served with TWG tea jelly and whipped cream. If none of these tickles your fancy, you can always pick a pastry from their trolley.

6. Brasserie Les Saveurs — The St. Regis Singapore

Located in the heart of Orchard Road, Brasserie Les Saveurs’ high tea service includes all you can ever ask for in an afternoon tea. Their menu includes a range of warm dishes and savoury bites, freshly baked scones and beautiful sweet treats like raspberry mousse with lychee foam.

7. The Lobby Lounge — Shangri La Singapore

Presented in an elegant three-tiered stand, expect The Lobby Lounge’s National Day Afternoon Tea to present sweet and savoury items such as Bandung macaroons, an assortment of Nyonya kuehs, mango lassi panna cotta, laksa crab and cheese tart, and masala spiced tuna with pickles with rice paper roulade. Complete this midday pleasure with your choice of coffee or teh tarik.

8. Tea Lounge — Regent Singapore

9. Atrium — Pan Pacific Singapore

Situated at the heart of Pan Pacific, Atrium features an eclectic collection of seating pods floating over a reflection pool. A dramatic lounge with a 44-metre-long bar – Asia’s longest – provides patrons with a stunning backdrop to sip on premium beers, wines and spirits.

If you’re here for afternoon tea, you’ll also get to enjoy enchanting melodies played live on a magnificent piano by their resident pianist.

10. Marché Mövenpick Singapore

The most affordable one of them all is Marche, which costs only S$26.90 for a 3-tiered afternoon set suitable for two people. Each set comes with two cups of coffee/tea, along with various fruits, tarts, cakes and finger sandwiches.

11. Royal Palm — Orchid Country Club

The Royal Palm is a huge restaurant, ideal for large groups, such as department gatherings. In addition to the space, it has a diverse menu to suit everyone. It has local cuisines and international delicacies like Western, North Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine.

On top of that, they also serve free-flow halal afternoon high tea buffets daily. Take your pick between fresh seafood, wagyu beef burgers, cakes, pastries, drinks and more. Their extensive offerings are further sweetened with the discount the hotel restaurant is currently having — 1-for-1 on all buffets until further notice.
