From juicy sign-up bonuses to higher cashback rates, here’s a roundup of Singapore’s best cashback cards.
Earn up to $70 back when you spend at least $800 with your DBS Live Fresh Credit Card. That works out to be 6% cashback and applies to in-store, contactless and online spend in Singapore and overseas. (Shopping and transport cashbacks are capped at $20 and $50 respectively each calendar month.)
No registration required! Once you have spent at least $800 with your credit card, you’ll unlock an extra 3.25% cashback for select overseas spend. From 1 April 2025, point-of-sale transactions performed in select Asian countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and more will net you 3.25% cashback, capped at $50 total.
Didn’t manage to spend at least $800 this month? You’ll still be eligible for the base cashback rate of 0.3% on all spend, which is unlimited. Please note that the following retail transactions are not eligible for all spend cashbacks: betting, payments for insurance premiums, EZLINK, SHOPEEPAY and RAZERPAY transactions. For an non-exhaustive list, please look at DBS’s Terms and Conditions document relating to the Live Fresh Credit Card.

Though the idea of being rewarded for your monthly expenditure is enticing, relatively low cashback caps put a damper on the prospect of earning back big bucks.
The monthly cap on transport spend, for example, is only $20. Meanwhile, both shopping and select overseas spend are capped at $50. Once card holders reach the limit, cashback rates revert back to the base rate of 0.3%.
The $800 monthly spend requirement for unlocking better cashback rates can also be a drawback for those who do not consistently spend in the shopping, transport and overseas categories. For example, a busy deskbound executive who rarely travels for work or leisure may not be able to capitalise on the full 9.25% cashback rate, owing to the lack of overseas spend.
If your monthly expenditure regularly exceeds $800, you might want better cashback rates to make it worth your while. The UOB One card gives up to 10% cashback for card holders who spend a minimum of $2,000 per month. That and the fact that they are partnering with some of Singapore’s favourite merchants, such as Cold Storage, Shopee, Guardian, McDonald’s and Grab—makes it that much easier for you to hit your minimum spend target.
We’ve compiled Singapore’s best shopping cards, so you can shop like a pro and earn optimal cashback, exclusive discounts and other goodies.
Feeling weary of tracking your spending categories to maximise your cashback earnings? Switch from your category-based card to a flat-rate cashback card! For American Express® True Cashback Card members, the hassle of minimum spend requirements, cashback caps and spending categories simply do not exist. This no-fuss credit card offers all new sign-ups 3% cashback. This applies for all local and overseas purchases, though this rate drops to 1.5% after a 6-month period. For those willing to pay the annual fee of $174.40, this is definitely one cashback credit card you should consider.

Much like the OCBC Frank Card and the POSB Everyday Card, the DBS Live Fresh Credit Card is tailored for young professionals. This especially applies to busy young professionals who are also bona fide shoppers and foodies who make several weekend trips a year. They will be able to take full advantage of DBS’s long list of 1-for-1 Food & Beverage deals and utilise DBS’s travel offers. This is, of course, on top of hitting $800 in shopping and transport spend for that 6% cashback rate, and maxing it out to 9.25% with select overseas spend of 3.25%.
