Sompo Travel COVID-19 Insurance offers more than just COVID-19 related benefits. In fact, it protects policyholders against a host of travel hiccups and hefty expenses without costing an arm or a leg.

Can’t wait to finally travel beyond Singapore’s shores? Apart from making all the necessary travel bookings, it is a good idea to first get your hands on a comprehensive COVID-19 travel insurance plan that offers coverage for COVID-19 related woes prior to your trip. Here’s where Sompo Travel COVID-19 Insurance can come in handy.

Sompo Travel COVID-19 Insurance offers two plans — Essential and Superior — that protect policyholders against hefty COVID-19 related overseas medical expenses, trip cancellation and disruption costs as well as non-COVID-19 related, common travel insurance benefits such as personal accident, travel delay, loss of personal belongings, medical expenses overseas coverage and more.

For policies issued on or after 20 July 2022, full vaccination is not required if the traveller fulfils the destination country's requirements and are not in breach of any government regulations. Travellers will only need to take a pre-departure COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test if it’s a requirement by the destination country.
