Single-Trip Policy:

  • You can cancel the GE travel insurance policy at any time before your coverage starts. Cancellations are effective from the date Great Eastern receives your written notice.
  • You will receive a refund of the premium paid minus a S$25 administrative fee. 
  • The policy cannot be cancelled if the cancellation notice is received on or after the coverage start date.

Annual Multi-Trip Policy:

  • Either party may cancel by providing one month's written notice. If you cancel, refunds are prorated based on how long the policy has been active:
    • Up to 60 days: 60% refund
    • 61 to 120 days: 40% refund
    • 121 to 180 days: 20% refund
    • More than 180 days: No refund
  • Refunds are not allowed if a claim has been made under the policy.
