Pros & cons
Pros | Cons |
Earn up to 6% cashback on dining, 5% on fuel (including petrol from all stations), 3% on groceries and online travel bookings. | To qualify for bonus cashback rates, you need to hit $800 in monthly spending — otherwise, the base cashback drops to 0.3%. |
The card is optimised for essential spending — think food delivery, supermarket runs, and daily commutes. | A 3.25% fee applies on overseas purchases, which can negate cashback earnings if you're a frequent traveller. |
Provided you meet the minimum monthly spend of $800, you can maximise returns with one of the highest caps in its category. | This is a cashback-only card — not ideal if you prefer to earn miles or flexible rewards points. |
Who is this card for
This card is ideal for budget-conscious spenders who plan their purchases and track their monthly expenses carefully. You can earn solid cashback in key areas like groceries, dining, and fuel. Drivers in Singapore will appreciate the 5% cashback on fuel, plus up to 22.92% savings at Caltex and 20.2% at Esso. Families can also benefit from earning rewards on regular household expenses. If you don’t travel often or shop much in foreign currencies, this card’s cashback structure offers better everyday value than a miles or rewards card.

What sets the OCBC 365 Card apart from other cards?
The OCBC 365 Card prides itself on being a reliable cashback for your everyday essentials – and it certainly does live up to the hype. It offers bonus cashback on unique categories like streaming services, pharmacy purchases, utility, telco bills, and even electric vehicle charging.
Moreover, dining and grocery transactions aren’t discriminated against, regardless of whether you spend locally or internationally. Both earn 5% and 3% cashback respectively regardless.
Lastly, its unique two-tiered min. spend system offers cardholders the option of either meeting S$800 or S$1,600 spend per calendar month. Thus, this simultaneously alleviates the pressure of reaching the min. spend but also encourages and rewards those who can attain the higher amount.
