So, you know A Poke Theory, right? Well, Alter Ego is by the same people who has been feeding us those yummy and yogi-approved poke super bowls. Although they’re sort of known as “the evil opposite of its healthier sister brand”, we assure you health freaks that you will find something that is not sinful.

In fact, one side of the menu is specially dedicated to “Eat Clean” and “Drink Clean”, featuring The Original Poke Shaker (S$16), shoyu salmon, lime avocado and pineapple topped with the signature roasted cashews, ikura and pickled seasonal vegetables. We also recommend the Vegan Green Goddess (S$13), an avocado poke on nutty brown rice, served with fresh ingredients, premium toppings of kimchi and Peruvian pomegranate.

Wash it all down with the Southern Sunrise with white hibiscus, lemongrass, grapefruit or Pumping Pomegranate with apple, rosehip, pomegranate petals.

DW Workshop is a hidden gem tucked inside a heritage house encompassing a café, brunch place, healthy dining restaurant and design workshop studio all under one roof. They serve up a great variety of Instagram-worthy Healthy Lunch Bowls (S$19 each) with options such as Salmon in a Bag, Savoury Grilled Chicken and Sweet Potato Frittata.

How it works: Choose one main, three sides, one grain (brown rice, red quinoa and basmati rice) and a topping to complete the bowl.

Pair your meal with a cold-pressed juice. Pick your favourite from the powerful Mighty Spinach with Cucumber, Red Apple and Lemon or the “Green Greens” with kale, celery and English parsley with red apple.
