The Citi PremierMiles Card is a steady workhorse when it comes to racking up miles. Find out what this credit card has to offer.

It's slow and steady in terms of miles per dollar earn rates (1.2 miles per dollar for local spend, 2 miles per dollar for foreign spend). Arguably, the best part of Citi PremierMiles credit card is that its Citi Miles (which you can convert to a wide range frequent flyer programs like KrisFlyer) never expire. #1 Citi Miles do not expire

Yes, you heard us. Citi Miles never expire so you will never have to feel rushed to use your miles on things that do not tickle your fancy. As mile chasers, we wholeheartedly appreciate earning and accumulating miles that do not expire as the whole process takes time. The next best thing about Citi Miles is that you have true flexibility in how you can utilise your miles. Log in to your account on the Citi ThankYou Rewards site to instantly redeem for flights or hotel stays with no blackout dates. 

You can also transfer your Citi Miles to participating frequent flyer programmes like Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer at a 1:1 ratio. Each transfer comes with a fee of $25 (excluding GST).

What charges or fees should you look out for?

  • Annual fee: $194.40 (first year waived) 
  • Late payment charge: $100 
  • Minimum monthly payment: 1% of current balance or $50, whichever is higher, plus any overdue amounts 
  • Overlimit fee: $40 if the total outstanding card balance exceeds the total credit limit at any time
  • Interest on purchases: 26.9% per annum subjected to compounding if full payment is not made by payment due date
  • Interest on cash advance: 26.9% per annum compounded daily on the amount withdrawn from the transaction date until the date that full payment is made

Eligibility criteria

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Minimum annual income for Singapore citizens and PRs: $30,000 
  • Minimum annual income for foreigners: $42,000
