Pros & cons

Pros

  • High cashback for specific categories

Earn 10% cashback on online shopping, groceries, beauty & wellness, pet shops & veterinary services, and cruises.

  • No annual fees

Both principal and supplementary cards are free for life, making it a low-maintenance option.

  • Practical for families and pet owners

The card offers high cashback on everyday household and pet-related expenses.

Cons

  • Minimum spend required

You need to hit $800 in monthly spending to qualify for the 10% cashback — otherwise, the base cashback is only 0.2%.

  • Category-specific cashback

The 10% rate only applies to specific categories, and cashback is capped at $20 for each category, which may limit earnings for inconsistent spenders.

  • Cashback cap of $100

If you are spending more than $1,000 a month, you would have to monitor your spending and switch over to another card once you have reached the cashback cap.

OCBC 365 Credit Card is perfect if you spend regularly on essentials like groceries, dining, fuel and bills. You get up to 6% cashback across useful daily categories — but you’ll need to spend at least $800 a month to unlock the higher cashback rates. The monthly cashback cap is generous (up to $160 if you spend more), which makes this card ideal for families or those who use it as their main credit card.

DBS Live Fresh Card is a good pick for younger adults and digital-first users. It offers up to 6% cashback on online shopping and contactless payments (great for mobile wallet users), but has the lowest monthly cashback cap (6%) and also requires $800 spend per month.

Citi Cash Back Card gives you higher cashback — up to 8% on petrol and private hire spend and 6% cash back on groceries and dining on dining and groceries spend, worldwide

However, the cashback is capped at $80 per month, so heavy spenders may find it limiting. Like OCBC 365, you’ll also need to spend $800 per month to get the best rates.
