You'll earn an additional 13% cash rebate (26 yuu points) when you spend a minimum of S$600 per month, or up to 18% cashback in total (36 yuu points).

However, note that you'll need to link your DBS yuu card to the yuu mobile app and pay by scanning your yuu ID to enjoy the maximum cash rebate. That's because the yuu app offers 0.5% cash rebate (1 yuu point), whereas the card earns you a 4.5% cash rebate (9 yuu point).

On the other hand, the POSB Everyday Card is a great option if you have a family to support since it rewards you on various expenses from dining, online shopping and personal care to groceries, petrol, utilities, and telco bills.

Conclusion

Like most banks, DBS credit cards can be segregated into cashback or miles.

The best DBS cashback card for daily expenditure is the DBS Live Fresh Card, which rewards you with up to 6% cashback with a minimum spend of S$800, plus a 0.3% unlimited base cashback rate. You can use it for everyday spending such as shopping, dining, groceries, ride-hailing services, and public transport rides

However, the DBS yuu Card is also an excellent cashback card, offering up to 18% cash rebate with a monthly minimum spend of S$600. Even if you don't hit the S$600 minimum spending requirement, you'll still get 5% cashback at Guardian, Gold Storage, Giant, 7-Eleven, BreadTalk, Toast Box, foodpanda, Singtel retailers, and more.

If you're into miles, the DBS Woman's World Mastercard is one of the best miles cards, offering 4 mpd on the first S$1,500 of your online spend. While it has a high minimum annual income of S$80,000, it's not uncommon for those earning below that threshold to get approval, especially if you're an existing DBS cardholder.

Aside from that, the DBS Altitude Card is also a solid alternative; it offers 1.3 mpd on local spend and 2.2 mpd for foreign currency spend.

Additionally, you'll also get two free lounge passes a year (Visa version only) and your DBS Points never expire. If you own the DBS Woman's World Card or DBS Woman's Card, your DBS Points also pool together, so you can minimise orphan miles and paying conversion fees.

DBS/POSB Credit Card Welcome Gift: Receive up to S$388 cashback or 85,000 miles when you apply for select DBS credit cards and fulfil the relevant promotion criteria. T&Cs apply.
