Product summary
Medical expenses incurred overseas or in Singapore
In the event you fall sick during your trip, any medical expenses you incur will be covered by Ergo TravelProtect, depending on the plan type you choose. If you opt for the Deluxe plan, you are insured up to S$1,000,000 for insured persons under 70 years old. For those above 70, the coverage offered is up to S$200,000.
Unlike some other travel insurance plans that don’t offer coverage for medical expenses in Singapore post-trip, Ergo TravelProtect does. You can enjoy up to S$50,000 of coverage for those below 70 years of age. This also included dental treatments due to accidents.
Emergency medical evacuation and medical repatriation
If any of the insured is overseas and results in bodily injury or sickness that is medically appropriate to move them to another location to receive medical treatment, the mode of evacuation will be covered, with no limits on the coverage for all plans, except the Basic plan that is only insured up to S$20,000.
In the event of death, repatriation of mortal remains and funeral expenses overseas will also be covered.
Sports coverage
Ergo offers full adventure activity coverage that includes any accidents while:
- Bungee jumping
- Paragliding
- Skydiving
- Jet skiing
- Hot air ballooning
- Mountaineering under 3,000 metres

24/7 Worldwide Assistance
Ergo provides a 24/7 hotline whenever you require assistance. Before your trip, their hotline will give you Visa, inoculation, weather and exchange rate information. Their 24/7 hotline is +65 6238 9909.
Home protection
Ergo offers home protection if your home contents get stolen or are damaged because of a fire while you’re away on holiday. Coverage goes up to S$5,000. This includes household furniture and furnishing, clothing and personal effects.
Rental vehicle excess and return
In cases of a road accident, while you’re overseas, you can get up to S$1,000 coverage for car rental excess.
Pet care
