Every spending situation is unique. SingSaver assembles the 'Best For' list, so you can decide what’s best for you.

Different business credit cards exist to suit different business needs and goals. Consider your business spending habits, fees and charges along with perks when comparing business credit cards.

Are you a business owner who’s looking for a business credit card to help free up your company’s cash flow, and keep business and personal expenses separate all while enjoying rewards, perks or savings? Good on you for recognising the power of a business credit card!

Like how varied consumer credit cards are, the same is said for business credit cards. Some are designed to help businesses earn rewards like cashback, miles or rewards points on their expenses while others could be more focused on keeping costs low through things like more favourable foreign exchange fees and no annual fees. Some business credit cards even throw in enticing travel perks or the ability to access flexible credit limits.

Looking for the best credit cards to complement your spending patterns and expenditure in 2023? Check out our Ultimate Credit Card Guide that covers all things credit cards in Singapore – from choosing between a cashback, miles, or rewards credit card to planning your credit card strategy.

Best for rewards on anything you spend on: Citi Business Card

The Citi Business Card lets you earn rewards on literally anything you spend on for your business. Be it meals, office supplies, marketing expenses, entertainment, or travel, this business credit card lets you earn 2 Citi ThankYou points for every S$1 spent. That's equivalent to 0.45% cashback or 0.8 miles per S$1 spent.

Besides making it easy for you to earn rewards across your business expenses, you will be thrilled to know that Citi Business Card will swoop in if you need to boost your business’ cash flow — it lets you enjoy a generous credit line of up to S$100,000 should you be looking to expand your business. Best for unlimited spend within your means: Standard Chartered Business Debit Card

Although this isn't a credit card, we think this debit card deserves a spot on our list. Because as far as card perks go, this debit card dishes out some solid benefits.

To compensate for its less ideal 1% rebate, this card has no rebate cap, no minimum spend, and no annual fees, ever... as long as your bank account can afford it. 😅

Basically, you can spend limitlessly to your heart's content (within your means) while still earning some rebate. If we were to compare it to other credit cards, the Standard Chartered Business Debit Card definitely squares up to other unlimited cashback credit cards on the market.

The downside is that its 1% rebate rate is relatively low compared to the usual 1.5% to 2% cashback rate offered by unlimited cashback cards. No matter, this is still a decent option if you still want to earn rebates without worrying about busting a rebate or a spend cap on your card.

Do note that you'll need to set up a Business Current Account with Standard Chartered first before you can obtain his debit card.

💡Pro-tip: Be entitled to 15% automatic rebates in hotels, dining, petrol, and other business logistics thanks to the MasterCard Easy Savings Programme.

Best for cashback on foreign currency: DBS World Business Card

DBS World Business Card may boast a high annual fee of S$406.60 and a minimum annual income requirement of S$80,000, but this business credit card is packed to the brim with perks and privileges.

DBS World Business Card lets you earn cash rebates in the form of DBS Rewards Points which you can redeem for cash, air miles or even shopping vouchers. DBS World Business Card offers 2% cash rebate on overseas spending (equivalent to 2mpd); 1% cash rebate on local dining, entertainment and travel (equivalent to 1 mpd); and 0.3% on all other transactions (equivalent to 0.3 mpd).

With regards to travel perks, this business credit card also lets you enjoy up to 10 complimentary Priority Pass airport lounge visits per year and up to S$1 million travel insurance coverage when the full travel fare is charged to this card.

And with the Mastercard easy savings® feature, rebates at participating merchants are automatically applied to your monthly statements. Merchants include the Dinova restaurant network in the USA and car rental service QeeQ in the Asia-Pacific.

DBS itself grants a host of business benefits across multiple categories too. This includes fuel discounts, dining privileges, cashback off utilities and telco bills, and more.

Lastly, you receive up to US$1.65 million employee misuse coverage and access to 24-hour dedicated service with DBS BusinessCare. You can also monitor and analyse card expenses whenever you wish, 24/7. However, do note that additional fees and charges may be applied.

Best for dining and unlimited airport lounge access: UOB Regal Business Metal Card

Created for business elites, the UOB Regal Business Metal Card is a by-invitation-only business credit card that offers top-notch luxury perks and benefits. These include a complimentary Diamond-tier Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Membership, Diamond-tier Fraser World membership, generous discounts at the Grand Hyatt Singapore and Pan Pacific Group properties, and much more.

For one, you get unlimited access to over 1,000 airport lounges worldwide thanks to the Mastercard Airport Experiences perk provided by LoungeKey. Furthermore, you're granted complimentary travel insurance coverage of up to US$500,000 for you and your family members.

Like the other cards on this list, the UOB Regal Business Metal Card rewards you for spending as well. You get 2% cash rebate on all overseas and dining spends, with no minimum spend required. On the local front, you enjoy a 1.5% cash rebate on retail spend and 0.3% on utilities. These cash rebates are automatically used to offset your following month's balance, so there's no need to send out several SMSes or log in to a rewards portal.

However, the card is scant on business-specific perks and it has a high annual fee of S$680. And as mentioned earlier, you'll need to be invited by UOB to apply for this card.

Best for flexible credit limits: Maybank Business Platinum Mastercard

To make things easier on businesses’ end, consolidated statements detailing expenses charged to all company-issued Maybank Business Platinum Cards will be provided. You can monitor spending and reconcile expenses for efficient tax reporting, too.

TREATS Points earned are flexible too — they can be redeemed for air miles, cash credits, vouchers and more.
